ABINIBI CERTIFIED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL (ACDP)

This is one of the major accreditations under the Abinibi academy tutelage structure. It is a 5 Week intensive course where the student learns and masters the technicalities and intricacies of design and its application.

Key Objectives

To graduate professionals with the necessary knowledge, skills, creativity, resourcefulness and intellectual agility to lead and support the critically important design industry in our nation and beyond.
To develop your skills as a visual designer in prints, branding/advertising or structures.
To learn the process and art of combining text and images.
To communicate an effective message for fun or function.
To help build a foundation and jumpstart your career in design by learning and using the industry-standard software programs (Adobe Photoshop CS5, Corel Draw X5).
To help learn how to address the elements of color, typography and general layout compositing.
This program will prepare you from an entry-level position to a certified professional as a production artist, advertising designer, illustrator, layout artist, digital publisher or visual artist. The Course Syllabus, strategically structured in ADOBE standard include Principles Of Design, Photo Retouching, Compositing, Imaging For The Web digital illustration, etc.

If you love digital manipulations and would like to express yourself on that platform then this is the course for you. This course teaches start up designers (those who have completed the GRAPHIC DESIGN course. It's a step futher in the world of creative design. Students would be taught how to achieve breathtaking design manipulations and Special FX (Effects). It's an exciting course that teaches all the advanced techniques and tools in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP. This course is for the developed mind; working and practicing professionals who want to perfect the art of design.

Key Objectives

As a student you will learn how to create and express your own fantasy. The course puts you on a Master level and reveals all the secrets and techniques in visual/digital manipulations.
To prepare potential academics to participate in future doctoral programs in inclusive design, for the furthering of leading-edge research and development in this area.
To expand notions of design, development and research in disciplines involved in advertising, branding, architecture, entertainment production practices and the full range of human diversity.
To equip graduates with a systematic understanding of knowledge regarding inclusive design systems and processes, including relevant knowledge in a wide variety of related fields and a critical awareness of current problems and new insights.
